Project & Business Development Director
As the manager of a team of highly talented consultants, you will actively participate in the development of our activities in Europe and beyond, and support clients all along the energy value chain in their decision-making processes.

Why join Artelys?

Joining Artelys is first and foremost joining a dynamic and motivated team, a stimulating work environment and taking part in varied and fascinating projects.

Artelys works with major public authorities (European Commission, energy ministries and agencies, regulators, etc.) and private actors (utilities, industrial associations, project promoters, etc.), providing them with actionable recommendations rooted in the use of state-of-the-art quantitative techniques.

Some examples of recent projects carried out by Artelys:

Artelys is in charge of METIS, a project for the European Commission. The objective of this project is to advise the Commission on the potential effects of different energy policies (market design, development of network infrastructure, storage and smart grid technologies, development of flexible energy usages, measures encouraging cooperation between Member States, etc.) on energy prices, integration of renewable sources and security of electricity, gas, and heat supply. In addition to carrying out studies, Artelys has delivered a dedicated software solution based on the Artelys Crystal Super Grid modelling platform enabling both the European Commission and the Joint Research Centre to further investigate relevant policy topics.

Artelys has undertaken an important number of cost-benefit analysis on behalf of project promoters and public authorities. The types of projects we have assessed range from electricity interconnectors to pumped-hydro storage, via batteries, electrolysers and hydrogen storage assets. The Artelys Crystal Super Grid solution enables our consultants to efficiently evaluate the effects of infrastructure projects in terms of economic savings, emission reductions and impacts on market prices. Our expertise also includes identifying the key risks for the business case, quantifying their impacts, and evaluating potential risk mitigation strategies.
