Meet Artelys during the 2022 ROADEF congress!
The ROADEF congress
The annual ROADEF conference aims at bringing together Operations Research practitioners. The objective is to promote exchanges and collaborations between researchers and industry, but also to participate in the training of young researchers strongly encouraged to present their work.
Operations Research (OR) is a science that deals with the development and application of advanced mathematics & analytics techniques in order to improve decision-making processes.
Sessions moderated by Artelys
Industrial and Operational Applications
This session aims to present operational solutions implemented in industries using Operations Research techniques. The presentations will illustrate the applications, challenges, techniques, benefits and resulting industrial transformations.
Supporting the energy and ecological transition using Operations Research
The impact of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions on global warming is now the subject of a broad scientific consensus. Thus, to limit global warming, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) considers it necessary to divide global GHG emissions observed in 2010 by at least three, within a few decades.
The purpose of this session is to present and discuss applications of Operations Research (OR) to problems inherent to the energy transition and the contributions that OR can make in the fight against global warming.
The session will be followed by a roundtable discussion in order to elaborate on the themes presented during the talks and to identify other perspectives on the application of OR techniques in the fight against climate change. Participants will also be invited to share the difficulties they have encountered in their work.

New method for energy mix pathway optimization problems
— Planning for the energy transition requires the ability to optimize energy system development pathways, considering complex interactions and constraints, particularly concerning interactions between sectors and vectors. In this context, Artelys has developed a new method for solving these large-scale mathematical problems.
Power up your business performances thanks to AI and our service package: Onboarding AI
— The stakes of Artificial Intelligence (AI) have become a strategic issue for companies, regardless of their field of activity or size. As an expert, Artelys provides you with full assistance, from the design stage to the implementation of your first AI solution, by building with and for your team a roadmap tailored to your business.
Artelys has developed an energy planning tool for Le Havre Seine Métropole
— As part of Le Havre Seine Métropole’s energy master plan, Artelys has worked with metropolitan services to set up a web platform for monitoring territorial energy data.
The latest versions of Artelys Knitro and CasADi are now compatible!
— CasADi is an open-source tool for general numerical optimization with a strong focus on optimal control and its versions 3.6.2 and higher are now compatible with Artelys Knitro 13.2.
