Artelys continues to expand internationally
With over 20 years of experience in mathematical optimization, Artelys offers a wide range of advanced components to adapt to your most complex challenges on an international scale.
Solid expertise
With teams composed of engineers and PhDs in numerical optimization, statistics, and computer science, Artelys has developed its own suite of software, Artelys Crystal, to address optimization challenges. To adapt to your business needs, we also provide optimization calculation software that integrates with any existing system and technical environment, along with tailored consulting solutions to support you through key stages of your projects.
Tailored offer for your industry
Artelys has primarily specialized in three sectors: energy, transportation, and planning. This allows our clients to benefit from both in-depth optimization expertise and support for specific industry challenges.
With nearly 300 clients worldwide, we have established long-lasting partnerships, including with SNCF, whom we have been supporting for over two decades. Our involvement spans various aspects such as transport planning, resource administration, and maintenance scheduling, demonstrating our comprehensive commitment to our partners. We have developed strong experience in resource planning (both material and human) and maintenance planning, as well as in the design and management of transport plans. From strategic analysis to operational solution implementation, our commitment to our partners is comprehensive.
International presence
Thanks to our expertise, Artelys has positioned itself as one of the global experts in mathematical optimization by expanding its presence internationally, with offices in five countries.

Innovative grid technologies can improve renewable energy integration in the Latvian grid by up to 40%
—The power grid faces challenges in managing the increasing amounts of new wind and solar power generation. Grid Enhancing Technologies (GETs) are essential for optimizing the use of the existing infrastructure. Artelys carried out a study for Latvian Transmission System Operator (TSO) AST to assess the renewable generation hosting capacity of the transmission grid and to evaluate the benefits that GETs can provide to renewable integration. The study performed simulations using the open-source optimal flow tool, PowSyBI Metrix. Results show that Grid Enhancing Technologies can increase Renewable Energy Sources (RES) hosting capacity by up to 40% and were announced in the following press release.
