This French Operational Research & Decision Support Society (ROADEF) annual event gathers academics and professionals in the fields of Operations Research and the Management Sciences (OR/MS) from more than 20 countries to introduce their research work and share their knowledge and expertise on decision problems.
Because advanced optimization technologies are the core of its solutions, Artelys sponsors this event and contributes with several key lectures:
- Considering the discrete aspects of electrical power systems in AC Optimal Power Flow problems (AC-OPF) with Mathematical Program with Equilibrium Constraints (MPEC) (within iTesla project) by Manuel Ruiz¹ during the Mixed Integer Nonlinear Optimization session, on Wednesday, February 26, from 2:00 pm to 2:20 pm, in Building A, room 34.
- Optimization of water distribution network pumping plans (within ArrowHead project) by Alexandre Marié¹ during the Mixed Integer Nonlinear Optimization session, on Wednesday, February 26, from 2:25 pm to 2:45 pm, in Building A, room 34.
- Sizing electrical supplies hybrid installations of overhead lines (within CONIFER project, in partnership with I&R department of the French Railway Company, SNCF) by Caroline Desprez² during the OR Applications & Industry Transfer session, on Wednesday, February 26, from 4:20 pm to 4:40 pm, in Building B, room 35.
- The art of hiding complex algorithms in beautiful applications! by Franck Mornet¹ during a dedicated tutorial session, on Wednesday, February 26, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm, in Building C, lecture hall “Deniges”.
