You will mobilize your skills to:
Design and implement innovative and efficient software solutions mainly based upon Python for industrial problems Meet with stakeholders to gather their needs to build data collection and storage solutions that are best suited to the use cases presented Design, develop and deploy technical solutions for data collection, cleaning and processing, then industrialize and automate these solutions Participate in the implementation of technical architectures based on Data or Big Data oriented environment Carry out developments aimed at the industrialization of statistical models and take part in the qualification of software
Depending on your skills and wishes, you may also take part in the development of Machine Learning and AI algorithms to be integrated into operational software.
You have at least 3 years of experience as a data developer, Python developer, developer or Data Engineer and wish to apply your expertise in software development to build high-impact applications You are interested in serving the general interest (Public Sector, Transport, Mobility, Health) You are autonomous and rigorous: you take pride in the product of your work and want to build clean, good software that lasts and will be liked both by its users and its maintainers You have good social skills and a strong team spirit: You are capable of synthetizing complex ideas and concepts in a manner as simple as necessary for your interlocutor and you care about the less experienced members of your team and help them learn and get better at what they are doing
You are the ideal candidate if you:
Hold an engineering degree, a master’s degree and/or a PhD Master Python language Have good knowledge of a Python application development framework (Flask, Django, FastAPI, etc.) Are experienced in the CI/CD Python stack Can implement data processing chains within advanced data architecture: Kafka/Spark, Apache Airflow/Argo, AWS/Azure/OVH, FAAS, Lambda architecture Are familiar with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (Elastic stack, MongoDB, Cassandra)
You will shine even brighter if you are good with one or many of the following:
Practice in data-science and with data-science tools in Python: NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn Experience in backend software development (preferably in Java) Distributed systems: message-oriented architecture (Kafka, Celery, etc.), micro-services, event-driven systems and reactive programming Scripting and automation tools (Bash, Cron, Ansible, etc.) Technical management of a project (task management, prioritization, team management)
Experience and knowledge in any of our main business sectors (Energy, Transportation and Mobility, Logistics, Public Studies) will be greatly valued.
To work within our teams, good fluency in either French or English is required.
