Release of KNITRO 5.2
Performance and interfaces: KNITRO still leading-edge
The new release 5.2 of KNITRO offers significant performance
improvements in terms of robustness and computing time, while
keeping the ability of moving from the interior points algorithm
to the active set algorithm to ensure an excellent quality
of the numerical solutions. These advances reinforce the leading
position of KNITRO in the market of solvers for nonlinear
optimization.
New features enrich this version. Convergence is easier and
infeasibilities are better detected, especially for problems
that include highly non-linear constraints. The implementation
of the multi-start process is made easier.
KNITRO is now directly
interfaced with Matlab Optimization Toolbox,
which enables a seamless integration within Matlab. This combination
of the two tools enables Matlab users to enjoy the entire
richness and performance of KNITRO optimization functionalities,
without leaving their usual modelling and development environment.
