Xpress-MP, developed by Dash
Optimization, is recognized worldwide for its efficient
range of modeling and optimization tools. The linear programming,
quadratic programming, mixed integer programming and constraint
programming codes are exceptionally fast and robust.
These optimization engines can be implemented without lengthy
or costly developments. Problems are described in a generic
algebraic modeling language which is easy to learn and use,
allows models to be written clearly and concisely, yet is
capable of handling the largest and most complex problems.
The optimizer solves linear and quadratic programs, with possibly
integer variables, using various numeric components: primal
and dual simplex, interior point, branch-and-bound and branch-and-cut
algorithms. Xpress-MP has powerful built-in default values
that recognize practical solutions to most problems.
These components can be embedded into specialized applications,
thanks to a number of Interface Librairies. These libraries
enable the advanced user to adjust controls and elaborate
heuristics. They offer an unrivaled power and flexibility
to develop specialized optimization applications.
